I have been photographing this family for 3 years!!....THREE years!! They are the very first family to do a real session with me when I first got into doing photography on a more serious level. We are finally so comfortable with eachother that they even make fun of me for things like forgetting to take my lens cap off lol! Sessions with them are a blast, they have adorable kids, and the fact that they trust me with capturing these special moments means the world to me!
I wanted to do this session in a way that they could really remember this time of their life when they look at these photos. I did it in a story format and I have to admit that I LOVE every single image.
With no further ado..... here is their newest bundle of joy.....

Congratulations!!!
I was super excited when Amanda asked me to do her Fall photos again this year and even more excited that it became a family shoot! I gotta say it is not easy keeping two dogs focused, but we managed quite well this year I think!!
I was also so happy that even though this started out as mostly cloudy day....we did finally get some backlit photos and for the most part we were successful at working around that horrid wind lol
This is such a cute family.....
About a week ago the Dietz family joined me for a windy day of photos. I loved meeting them all....his kids are so well behaved and they were just loving being in front of the camera!
I have got to say though....between the wind and rain I have had just the weirdest luck with Fall sessions this year. I am so glad that non of that nonsense as stopped me from being able to meet new families and create beautiful photos for them! Thank you Brian & family for braving the cold and wind with me!
I have known Justine for a few years now. We worked together at a daycare and quickly became friends. She has always been the sweetest most friendly person you would ever meet....honestly!
Naturally I was excited when she asked me to take her engagement photos. I had never done an engagement session before and I actually found it to be really fun...not to mention I love ALL of their images!
These two are the cutest couple! I wish them the best on their journey into marriage and I hope that they stay this happy forever :)
(Travis....you got yourself a good one! )
I have not had very good luck with the weather when it comes to my photo sessions and it was literally raining on us the day we took these. I would have LOVED some backlit photos and...well just more photos in general, but I am glad that we were able to make this work for the moment :) we have a redo in the works!
Most of you probably don't know it, but this is my *other* family....or my second family...however you want to put it. I have known them since I was in first grade. Yes, many moons ago lol! Crazy to think I used to see their family photos on the wall as a little girl and now I am the one taking them! AND I'm honored to do so!
It is not often that I get to photograph a new family so I was so excited when Amber messaged me to tell me they wanted to do a family session! Of course it would be my luck that on our day it was raining off and on. It was even raining on our way to the location which made me nervous, but they were ready to shoot and dash if need be so I was all for it!....luckily it did not rain on us and we were able to get all of these super cute photos :)
